How great leaders inspire action - Simon Sinek

In this video Simon Sinek presents a simple but powerful model for how leaders inspire action, starting with a golden circle and the question “Why?” His examples include Apple, Martin Luther King, and the Wright brothers.

Golden Circle Model

The model codifies the three distinct and interdependent elements (Why, How, What) that makes any person or organization function at its highest ability.

Based on the biology of human decision making, it demonstrates how the function of our limbic brain and the neocortex directly relate to the way in which people interact with each other and with organizations and brands in the formation of cultures and communities. I feel that the approach gave me a stronger sense of my own purpose and my motivation increased. I look forward to start using this in practise. Check out his video and get inspired!
